Supporting young mums with dental care

Map My Mouth has been lucky to work alongside Murihiku Young Parent Learning Centre to help make dental care a little easier for young mums in Invercargill.

A huge thank you to the kind funders who made this possible for the girls. Because of your support, they’ve been able to access dental checks, X-rays where needed, oral health education, and support with what comes next.

It has been really special to see the change in their oral health, confidence, engagement, and eagerness to learn more — not just for themselves, but for their babies too.

When you’re pregnant, parenting, studying, and trying to keep everything together, dental care can easily end up at the bottom of the list. This has helped make that first step more realistic and less overwhelming.
